Are you in Instruction Mode or Reflection Mode?
Because they look similar.
But they build very different lives...
Instruction Mode says:
“Tell me the steps.”
“Give me the techniques.”
“Just tell me what to do and I will follow.”
It wants clarity.
It wants speed.
It wants relief... asap...
But sometimes, it wants to skip understanding.
It says,
“If you give me the formula, I will apply it.”
But the truth is:
If you follow steps without understanding yourself, you are outsourcing your growth by blindly trusting the instructor.
Anyone can give you steps.
Even the internet can.
Even AI can.
Instruction Mode tells you what to do, but it does not teach you how to understand yourself or grow awareness. Thus the other mode should be preferred because...
Reflection Mode says:
“Wait.”
“What is actually happening inside me?”
“Why does this trigger me?”
“How does this apply to my history, my patterns, my fears?”
Reflection Mode is slower.
Sometimes it is uncomfortable...
It requires you to think.
But it builds awareness and that helps change π€
Instructions may change behavior, temporarily.
However, reflection changes insight π§
And insight changes you.
It is completely alright to want guidance.
But guidance works only when it meets a mind that is willing to examine itself.
Otherwise, you are not growing.
You are just copying.
So ask yourself honestly,
Am I looking for instructions so I do not have to think?
Or am I ready to reflect so I can truly understand?
If you are ready for Reflection Mode, that is where real psychological work begins.
And that is where I can help you.
Because therapy is not about giving you steps.
It is about helping you understand yourself so that your steps finally make sense π€
