Is Curiosity that important to be Successful?

Is Curiosity that important to be Successful?

When I began studying the most successful personalities, one thing was consistently common among all of them—curiosity. I curiously pondered the question: why is it that curiosity is a trait shared by every successful person or group?

The question persisted, fueling my curiosity even further. As a result, here is a summary of what I researched, exploring questions such as:

- Why is Curiosity so Important?

- Were All the People We Consider Successful Curious?

- How Does Curiosity Enable Them to Think Differently Than a Layman's Thinking? And much more...

We, as human beings, are inherently curious from birth.

Is Curiosity so important ?

All individuals experience curiosity, but they differ in its depth, breadth, and in their threshold and willingness to experience it.

It was due to curiosity that Newton discovered gravity. Thomas Alva Edison developed the bulb after failing 1000 times, all because of curiosity!

We are using phones, laptops, and all the modern-world things. Even the old-world things are born out of curiosity.

When our curiosity is triggered, we think more deeply and rationally about decisions and come up with more creative solutions.

All successful personalities have one thing common in them that made them successful, and that is curiosity.

I was reading a book - "The Science of Happiness" by the famous author Stefan Klein, where he said that curiosity is an occupational disease of scientists and journalists that keeps us motivated. Curiosity is the thing that keeps you learning and growing.

"If you are not Curious while doing something, that means you are wasting your time, money & energy."

What Special Needs Parenting Really Looks Like, And Why You Deserve to Be Seen, Especially on Global Parents Day

As a Special Educator, I’ve had the privilege of interacting closely with many parents, and let me tell you, it’s not easy!

Being a parent is one of life’s most challenging roles. You are tested every single day. And when it comes to parenting a child with special needs? That challenge multiplies tenfold:

πŸ₯Ί Emotionally

πŸ’ͺ Physically

πŸ™‡ Socially

πŸ’° Financially

Now let me picture how it is 🧠 mentally:

Once I entered a room where a newborn had been crying inconsolably. The mother had tried everything, and so had the father. The elders in that room, despite giving their best, stood anxious and helpless, unable to comfort the baby. Despite all the love, knowledge, experience, and effort... they couldn’t figure out why the baby wouldn’t stop crying. Yet, they kept trying, and when the baby calmed down… the whole room took a breath together.

Now, imagine a similar helplessness, not just for an hour, but stretched over years. A child growing biologically, but struggling to keep up mentally and socially, and who finds it difficult to make friends, to communicate, to just ‘fit in’ with peers. Parents of such children face invisible battles every day. And still, they choose love. They choose patience. They show up again and again, even when the world misunderstands or judges.

Global Day of Parents isn’t just a date. It’s a reminder to acknowledge the relentless strength, perseverance, and silent sacrifices of parents, especially those raising children with special needs.

To all such parents:

πŸ‘‚ I hear you.

πŸ˜ƒ I see you.

πŸ˜‡ I admire you for what you do every day.

Today is your day...

You are doing all you can and, yes, it is counting πŸ€—
